Work Placement (Internship) / Bachelor’s Thesis

Universities of Applied Sciences and their degree programmes provide academically well-founded vocational education. To guarantee practical relevance of the Bachelor’s programmes students at the School of Engineering in Wels are required to complete a work placement (internship) in commerce or industry in the 6th semester. While working on activities relevant to their study programme students gain an insight into their future field of work as well as the problems of practice. Students remain enrolled as students of their respective degree programmes during the work placement/internship.
