AMM student presents and publishes paper at symposium on Energy Innovations
Automotive Mechatronics and Management Master’s degree student, Muni Venkata Sai Kumar Kunduru from India, has been researching photovoltaics and battery storage systems during his 2nd year of studies under the supervision of Dr. Harald Kirchsteiger, expert for electrical control engineering and energy. As a result a paper titled “ Nonlinear Model Predictive Control of a Combined PV and Battery Storage System” has been presented at the 16th Symposium Energieinnovation (EnInnov) which took place in Graz, Austria from 12-14th February 2020. The paper has also been published in the conference proceedings of EnInnov. Muni Konduru is grateful for this opportunity “to not only be part of the presenting community, but also to be at conference and discuss with leading researchers on a wide range of topics including climate change, government policies on clean enegry”.
The Master’s degree programm Automotive Mechatronics & Management follows a practice oriented hands on approach. Internships are included in the curriculum as early as in the second semester to help students gather industry experience and to prepare graduates for the entrance in the job market. Muni Konduru: “I would like to thank the heads of studies Dr. Kurt Gaubinger and Dr. Thomas Schlechter for designing the programme in such a unique way!” Congratulations on your achievements so far, Muni, well done!
