Materials, Materials Testing, Damage Analysis, CAE (Computer Aided Engineering and Simulation), Processing and Production Processes, Processing and Production Plants, Joining/Connection/Adhesion Technologies, Corrosion, Wear, Surface Engineering, Automation, Quality Management, Economics, Law, Social Competence.

Students specialise in either Plastics or Metals as the course progresses. Alongside the broad and applications-oriented range of subjects of a technical/engineering nature, relevant aspects of non-technical subjects essential for a career in modern industry are also covered comprehensively: Business Economics, Project Management, Social Competence, English.
