International Events

The School of Medical Engineering and Applied Social Sciences is the venue for international events that involve both, students and staff. The annual events provide an opportunity to chat with international guests and to learn more about your colleague's experiences abroad.

International Days in Social Work

This event is designed for our master's degree students in social work and students and lecturers from our international partner universities and lasts for one week. It has been offered since 2016 and was developed from a Summer School which originally started in 2009 as a course for students/lecturers from one US partner university.

The International Days in Social Work take place each year and are organised by the Department of Social Work and International Office and has been very successful with up to 100 participants per year.

The programme covers lectures/workshops which are given by international guest lecturers as well as site visits to social work organisations and cultural activities.
