Microsoft looks to Hagenberg’s Cloud Computing know-how

The two software engineering professors, Werner Kurschl and Johann Heinzelreiter, were invited to give a lecture at the international Microsoft Research conference at Microsoft`s headquarters in Redmond, USA.

The two cloud computing experts presented their didactic concept for integrating cloud computing in a software engineering curriculum, and shared their know-how with representatives of leading universities such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and ETH Zurich.

Kurschl and Heinzelreiter have been teaching cloud computing both on the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programme “Software Engineering”, and also done research in this field.
