FOR BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAMMES

Option 1
Svjedodzba o drzavnoj maturi (2010)

Option 2
Svjedodzba o maturi in conjunction with Potvrda o polozenim ispitima drzavne mature

NOTE: The Potvrda should imply the three necessary school leaving examinations in the compulsory subjects Croatian, Mathematics and foreign language. These should be passed. If only one or two compulsory subjects are verified, the Higher Entrance Qualification is neither given in Croatia nor in Austria!

Option 3
Svjedodzba o maturi in conjunction with matriculation certificate (preddiplomski sveucilisni studij/integrirani preddiplomski I diplomski studij) - access only for the study programme mentioned in the matriculation certificate

Option 4
Svjedodzba o maturi in conjunction with Diploma o stecenoj visoj strucnoj spremi / Diploma o zavrsenom strucnom studiju - access only for the previous field of study

Option 5
Svjedodzba o maturi in conjunction with strucni prvostupnik - access only for the previous field of study

Option 6
Svjedodzba o zavrsenom srednjem obrazovanju - access if certain requirements are met (this is to be proved by the FH Upper Austria)

Option 7
Svjedodzba o zavrsnom ispitu (3 years and 4 years) - access if certain requirements are met (this is to be proved by the FH Upper Austria)

Option 8
Svjedodzba o zavrsnom ispitu-maturi - access if certain requirements are met (this is to be proved by the FH Upper Austria)

FOR MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMMES

Minimum requirement is Prvostupnik (Baccalaureus), 3-4 years, full-time. It must be a degree from a recognised University in Croatia (this is to be proved by the FH Upper Austria). 

Applicants from abroad prove their proficiency in the language(s) of instruction at the time of their application. Depending on the degree programme, language certificates for German (at least B2) or English (B2, Toefl, IELTS certificate) must be presented. For attending the German Preparation Programme A2 Level is required.

If you don't have yet the necessary (language) skills or miss sufficient credits in mathematics/phiysics/English for selected sudy degree programmes? The FH Upper Austria offers for those applicants an International Foundation Programme. Students will be enrolled as external students during the time of programme. This allows for obtaining visa and student residence permit.

It is your responsibility as a student to take care of visa arrangements. As soon as you receive your Letter of Acceptance, please get an appointment at the Austrian embassy in Zagreb. If you intend to stay for one semester only, it is sufficient to apply for a Visa D (for stays up to 6 month). Degree-seeking students apply for a Residence Permit (for stays of more than 6 months) right from the beginning. Usually embassies require you to bring additional documents such as proof of health insurance, proof of accommodation and a financial statement.
