COMPREHENSIVE RESEARCH IN PRIMO

The PRIMO search engine searches the contents of the databases licensed by the FH Upper Austria all at once (search field "Catalogue Plus").
Log in to PRIMO at the top right with your FH Upper Austria access data to get full access to the content.

Some databases are not or not fully searchable in PRIMO (information provided below the respective title of the database).
Direct access to these (and all other) databases is possible by clicking on the link provided with the information on the database.
Registration/log in directly on the database page is not necessary, unless it is stated otherwise in the database description.

REMOTE ACCESS: Access to the databases outside the FH Upper Austria IP range

Registration in PRIMO enables immediate access to the electronic media, even outside the FH Upper Austria IP range.
If you would like to research directly in one of the licensed databases or in one of the databases that are not integrated in PRIMO, remote access is possible via the respective database access link (stored in the title of the database). You then have to log in with your FH Upper Austria access data.

TERMS OF USE

All databases and journals are subject to copy right law. Please observe the following rules.

• The access to licenced full texts and other data is restricted to the employees/students of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and users of the campus libraries.
• The full text articles are just allowed to be printed/saved for personal use and research.
• Systematical printing/saving of articles or complete issues, especially through robots, is restricted.
• Articles are not allowed to be passed on (electronically and/or in printed form) to a third person.

Speziell für die Fachrichtungen Sozialpädagogik / Soziale Arbeit hat die FH Oberösterreich die folgenden Zeitschriften aus dem Belz/Juventa Verlag elektronisch lizenziert. Die Inhalte sind ab 2008 bzw. bei neueren Zeitschriften ab dem ersten Erscheinungsdatum zugänglich.

Die vor mehr als 200 Jahren begründete Enzyklopädie bildet mit aktuell rund 300.000 Stichwörtern und erklärten Begriffen den umfassendsten fachlich betreuten lexikalischen Bestand im deutschen Sprachraum. Rund 33.000 Bilder, Audio- und Videodateien, teilweise interaktive Grafiken, Karten sowie Tabellen vertiefen und veranschaulichen die Informationen.

Die umfangreichen Länderinformationen sind mit topographischen Karten versehen. Einheitliche Quellen bei Wirtschafts- und Bevölkerungsdaten garantieren die Vergleichbarkeit der Länder untereinander.

Um Zugang zur Datenbank zu bekommen ist eine Anmeldung direkt auf der Datenbankseite (Anmelden / Login Universitäten) mit Ihren FH Daten notwendig (auch innerhalb des Campusbereichs der FH Oberösterreich!)

Die RDB Rechtsdatenbank ist in Österreich einer der führenden Anbieter von juristischen Online-Informationen für die Bereiche Recht und Steuern. Die Datenbank führt eine Vielzahl juristischer Publikationen (Fachzeitschriften, Kommentare, Festschriften, Entscheidungssammlungen, etc.)  sowie Datenbankinhalte des RIS auf einer Plattform zusammen. Die RDB stellt somit eine Informationsplattform zur Verfügung, die hoch qualitative juristische Inhalte aus österreichischer und europäischer Judikatur sowie juristische Literatur mit einem modernen Recherchesystem verknüpft.

The Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences offers its students access to the entire UTB library.
