The library search engine PRIMO searches the licenced contents of nearly all our purchased databases if you choose the search option "Catalog Plus".

Your Sign In to PRIMO enables immediate access to the electronic media, even outside the campus network.

SEARCH IN DATABASES

Some licenced databases are not or not fully searchable via PRIMO. Direct access to these databases is realised by clicking on the link provided in the title of the database (cf. below).
If you want to research them off campus, you also get remote access via the respective link stored in the title of the database. Additionally, you then have to sign in with your FH Upper Austria account if asked.
Extra Registration/Sign In on the database site is not necessary.

The ACM Digital Library is a research, discovery and networking platform containing the full-text collection of all publications of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) including journals, conference proceedings, transactions, magazines, newsletters and books.

EBSCO Business Source Elite provides full-text coverage of top business, management and economics journals and periodicals. The database includes full-texts (PDF) as far as 1985. More than 10,000 company profiles from Datamonitor are also included.

The IEEE Xplore Digital Library contains full-text documents from IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) journals, magazines, transactions, conference proceedings, and standards. It also includes content from select other publishers such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). The full-text (PDF) coverage is dating back at least until 1988 (selected parts until 1913).

OECD iLibary is the online library of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) featuring its books, papers, podcasts and statistics and is the knowledge base of OECD's analysis and data.

Content items (April 2022):

• 16,940 e-book titles
• 283,540 tables and graphs
• 89 podcasts
• 2,570 articles
• 7,860 working papers and policy responses
• 7 billion data points across 44 databases.

OECD iLibrary also contains content published by the International Energy Acency (IEA), the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), the OECD Development Centre, PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment), and the International Transport Forum (ITF).

The database contains two database segments: PSYNDEX Literature with records of psychological publications from authors in the German-speaking countries from 1977; PSYNDEX Tests with descriptions of tests in use in the German-speaking countries.

The SAGE Humanities and Social Sciences Package (HSS) provides acces to 770+ journals in the humanities and social sciences fields, along with "Management & Organizations Studies" and "Communication & Media Studies".
