Admissions process


To qualify for the Master's degree programme Mobile Computing, you must have completed a relevant Bachelor's degree programme of at least 6 semesters or a comparable higher education at university level (min. 180 credits) at a recognized post-secondary institution.

Additionally required:

  • Advanced programming skills in Java, C and C++
  • 60 credits in Informatics
  • 10 credits in Communications Engineering

Admissions process step by step

Step 1

Collect required documents:

  • Birth certificate
  • Secondary school certificate/ A-levels
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Transcript of records

All documents must be translated to German or English.

For EU and Non-EU applicants only: The documents of your Bachelor's degree and transcript of records must be legalized.

Step 2

Complete your online application and upload the required documents.

Step 3

After completing your application the next step is an online application test. You will get a notification via email from our department including further information.

The test consists of two parts:

Step 4

After the successful completion of your test, the next step will be a Skype interview with two professors of our department. You will be asked about your motivation and interest for this Master's degree programme. Furthermore, you will be interviewed on your educational background and your professional skills.

Step 5

After you have completed the entire admissions process, you will be notified about your results by email as soon as possible.
