New Career Zone officially launchedThe free web app from JobTeaser replaces the old jobportal

For many years, the jobportal created by karriere.at served well to inform students and alumni. Nevertheless, in autumn 2019 the executive board of FH Upper Austria decided to expand the career services by changing to an alternate system in the winter semester 20/21. Today is the start date of this new solution: the Career Zone from JobTeaser. This platform is optimized for mobile use and can be used both in English and German language. Let us give you a quick overview of the services that await you in this free web application:

“Jobs”: An infinite source of opportunities
In this menu, you can find thousands of job offers, internships and topics for theses. Define your criteria – from the type of agreement over the preferred sector to the place of work and size of the company – you can specify what you are looking for.

“Companies”: Appealing employers on display
Here you can take a close look at profiles of companies. The ones from business partners of the FH Upper Austria are listed on top of the site. Get a first impression of potential employers and check out advertised positions, upcoming events and latest news.

“Events”: Get insights and gain knowledge
In this section, you get information about career-related events. Not only the FH Upper Austria offers useful tips. You may also register for lectures, workshops and exhibitions of partner companies.

“Advice”: A little support never hurts
Whether you are interested in how to write an impressive CV, how to prepare for job interviews, how to choose the right employer or need some advice on how to start an international career: In this section, you will find helpful input on various career-related topics.

“Dashboard”: The right place to present yourself
Here you can configure your user profile: Describe yourself in a few words, add your professional history, link your social media accounts and upload your CV. Let the companies know if you are open for job offers.

Log in and get started:

The Career Zone is - in contrast to the old jobportal - a closed platform. This means all the contents are not open to public, but can be found in a password-protected user area. To get there, you have to register.

Students and employees of the FH Upper Austria can easily log in with their FH accounts (S- or P- number and the matching password). Graduates who are members of the Alumni Club FH OÖ can also create an account. To verify your membership-status and to activate your account, you have to enter the e-mail address you use for the alumni club, too.
