Job portal to be replaced by Career ZoneThe new platform will be launched at the end of November

In a couple of weeks, the FH Upper Austria is going to replace its current job portal with a career platform, the Career Zone, which contains a lot of new functions and features. The things that are going to change in this context - both for students, graduates and companies - are described in the following paragraphs.

Changes for students and graduates:

In the new Career Zone by JobTeaser, you are not only going to find significantly more job advertisements and filter options than before: From now on, you will also have the opportunity to get to know interesting companies from all over Europe and to register for exclusive career events.

Furthermore, users will be able to create a profile, to upload their CV - and to apply for a job with only a few mouse clicks. In addition, some helpful career hints are offered. Different, however, is that you have to log in if you want to access the Career Zone.

Students and employees at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria will be able to register via single sign on. Graduates that are members of the Alumni Club, can create their account in a few steps.

Changes for companies:

Companies may still place as many job advertisements as they like. As in the past, the FH Upper Austria is not going to charge you for this service. What is new, however, is the fact that you cannot place your job advertisements via a simple form. Instead, you can create a free recruiter's account, via which you can create, manage and reactivate expired job advertisements.

Along with this new concept comes a variety of benefits: Not only do you have a better overview of all your running and expired job ads. You are also provided with access to a statistics feature where you can see how many unique users viewed your job ads as well as how many clicks and applications you have in total. Officially, the new Career Zone starts in the last week of November. Creating a free recruiter*s profile is already possible, however. We recommend you to register now and to create your job ads before the launch. By doing that, you can make sure to be visible in the Career Zone right from the start.
