Study degree programme of School of Management in Steyr ranked number one
The Master's degree programme "Supply Chain Management" of the FH Upper Austria School of Management in Steyr received the best average score (1.95) from a total of 318 assessed courses. Second place in the overall ranking: the Bachelor "International Logistics Management" (2.00) - also from FH Upper Austria Steyr Campus.
"An essential foundation for the quality of training and research in the logistics sector is that logistics is a strategic field of the state of Upper Austria. A network of excellence has been established around this topic. The Logistikum in Steyr is Austria's largest research unit for logistics, which is why we have created an important basis for the current and practical relevance of the degree programmes, "explains Prof. DI Franz Staberhofer.
In the "Finance and Accounting" category, an additional degree programme from FH Upper Austria Steyr Campus was awarded the two top places: the Bachelor's and Master's degree "Controlling, Accounting and Financial Management" achieved a score average of 2.09 (Master) and 2.11 (Bachelor's degree). In the category "Engineering and other", the Bachelor's degree "Production and Management" of the Steyr faculty was also rated outstandingly by surveyed executives and landed in second place with a grade average of 2.23.
Informatics: Eleven positions in the top 20
Top grades were also issued to Hagenberg Campus in the category "Computer Science, Software". The Bachelor's degree "Software Engineering" was rated with an average score of 2.13. The Master's degree came in second place with an average score of 2.19 - ahead of Hagenberg's "Mobile Computing" programme. Eight additional Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes offered by the FH Upper Austria School of Informatics, Communications and Media made it into the Top 20.
Ranking results were similar in the "Management, IT" category: The IT campus was selected by the leaders with "Information Security Management", "Information Engineering and Management" and "Human Centered Computing" three times as being among the Top 5.
Top-Rated in "Engineering"
The FH Upper Austria Wels Campus was particularly successful in the "Processing Technology" category achieving the first two places in the ranking with the Master's degree (average grade: 2.21) and Bachelor's degree (average grade: 2.22) in "Materials and Process Engineering".
In the "Automation, Electronics" category, the Wels Campus received excellent scores landing among the top 5 with “Automation Engineering” with average scores of 2.12 (Master) and 2.14 (Bachelor). In the field of "Energy and Environmental Technology" the School of Engineering in Wels landed a third place just behind two other programmes with "Eco Energy Engineering".
