Which documents do I need for my application?

Realize your career goals with us! The first hurdle is accomplished as soon as you submit your application documents including the following:

  • Letter of motivation stating your qualifications and motives
  • Complete and up -to- date CV / resume
  • Copies of all relevant certificates and testimonials
  • List of publications (for applications as lecturer/ assistant lecturer)

Please send your application portfolio by email to the contact person mentioned in the job advertisement.

What is the application procedure at the FH OÖ like?

After receiving your application portfolio you will be constantly informed about the status of your application. In addition to a review of your documents tenders for the position of lecturers/ assistant lecturers pass a preselection and a hearing in front of an appointments committee.

We are reviewing your data for the purpose of a legally compliant selection procedure with utmost care. These data are saved according to highest safety standards and are neither forwarded to internal unauthorized people nor to external people. Your application documents are only forwarded to a very small group of people who are involved in the decision-relevant selection procedure.

Your personal data are deleted at the following date: after completion of selection procedure and further nine months according to the provisions of the Equal Treatment Act for the preclusion of claims.

Honesty and authenticity are especially important to us – in your motivation letter please describe briefly your career to date and why you of all applicants are the right employee to be. Even in the job interview we pay great attention to honesty and openness of both conversation partners. It would be of enormous value for you if you had already informed yourself about the FH OÖ before the interview – e.g. on our website.

What is the duration of the application process?

We kindly ask for your understanding that due to the tender period, the number of applications and internal processes it may take some time until your application is dealt with. We assure you, however, to give you all necessary information about a decision-  either by telephone or by email.

Is it possible to make an unsolicited application?

Applications which do not refer to a specific job advertisement can neither be considered nor filed. All our vacant positions and the responsible contact person are advertised on our website.
