Studienprojekte

The goal of the project is the development of a secure client for mobile devices based on the Android operation system. Security in the context of this project means the authentication of the user on the device. In this semester the usage of automatic face recognition will be explored.

Ziel

The project deals with means of authenticating a user on a mobile device. Due to the nature of modern mobile phones with large touch screens and no physical keypad, it is tiresome and unpractical for a user to enter a classical user authentication consisting of username and password. Especially secure passwords, which by definition consist of long strings of letters, digits and special characters, are extremely difficult and time consuming to use on mobile devices.
