Studienprojekte

Ziel

During the third semester a prototype trouser for measuring EMG data on the rectus femoris should be created.

Umsetzung

This data should be sensed with a Raspberry Pi 3 running Android Things (or Arduino Lilypad). The Raspberry Pi will sense the rectus femoris with a new EMG sensor, as the old hardware used in the last semester shows insufficient capabilities and mobility to be mounted on a fully mobile prototype. The fact, that a Raspberry Pi is used shows the need for a comprehensive software platform, which can run on so-called client devices (devices which take care of the sensing and the communication with the server side). The server side application receives the signal and provides different tools, filters and analysis methods for data evaluation and processing.
