Studienprojekte

StudyMate, a toolkit that facilitates the conduct of mobile HCI experiments in controlled environments. StudyMate's workflow is based on best practices in HCI research.

Ziel

The experimenter can design the experiment on a web interface. This involves the creation of tasks and questionnaires, the definition of experimental variables and the structuring of the experiment. Participants take part in the experiment on a mobile device. A specifically designed mobile application provides a formal procedure to them and collects interaction data in the background. It collects measures of the participant's performance, screen recordings, navigation flows and the results of questionnaires.
