Studienprojekte

A personal radio system that assembles a radio program according to the users desire. With respect to the users context it mixes local media with online live and on demand media as defined in subscribable program modules.

Ziel

This work deals with fundamental research, and in further consequence with the implementation of a personal radio client. This client will render a unique and personal radio program according to the users desire. The user may be able to subscribe to several program modules such as news, sport reports, entertainment and so on. Those modules can be offered from existing radio stations or private providers. It can be preproduced on demand media or live streams. The client then takes those material and mixes it with other media such as local music, jingles or advertisements. Advertisements may also be presented according to the users context – such as age, location, interest. In the end it should feel like a common radio program but with own music, only with the favourite programs, the possibility for interaction and advertisements that meet the users interest.
