The International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Multimedia (MUM) is a leading annual international conference, which provides a forum for presenting the latest research results on mobile and ubiquitous multimedia. The conference brings together experts from both academia and industry for a fruitful exchange of ideas and discussion on future challenges, in a comfortable and effective single-track conference format.
The 14th International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Multimedia (MUM 2015) took place in the Ars Electronica Center in Linz, Austria from November 30 – December 2, 2015. The conference was organized by the Department of Mobile Computing, University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (Clemens Holzmann) and the Institute of Networks and Security, Johannes Kepler University Linz (René Mayrhofer), in cooperation with ACM SIGCHI. Technical program chairs of MUM 2015 are Enrico Rukzio from the University of Ulm, Germany and Jonna Häkkilä from the University of Oulu, Finland.
MUM 2015 continued the tradition of innovation and excellence in research established by previous MUM conferences. In addition to the peer-reviewed accepted papers, the conference program included keynote presentations, posters, demos and a video track. All accepted submissions were included in the conference proceedings published by ACM Press and in the ACM Digital Library. The conference also had a co-located doctoral school. The technical program was complemented by several social events to facilitate informal discussions and networking among the conference attendees and invited guests.
