Studienprojekte

Ziel

A sophisticated, handsome 3D cube should be developed containing a microcontroller with an attitude sensor. Through this newly generated device an interactive product should be designed which is able to control other devices via wireless communication based on its tilting mechanism.

Umsetzung

The cube is about to contain a microcontroller with an attitude sensor, a power bank for its energy needs, some kind of wireless communication interface and six displays. Each display should be located on one of the six sides of the cube, showing different information for different devices.

All parts which form the whole cube should be housed in a 3D printed case which holds the displays and the hardware itself, preventing the inner parts from moving around.
Via wireless communication the cube shall control different devices based on its current tilt. One possible example would be to activate some machine through turning the cube. The whole cube will fit nicely into ones hands and should have a proper size.
