Since the very beginning, the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences has been marked by a spirit of innovation and dynamic development. Having established a sound reputation both regionally and nationally, our current focus is on positioning our degree programmes in the international sphere. In order to support our internationalization policy, the state of Upper Austria does not require students who meet the entrance requirements to pay tuition; however, there is a fee for German courses. We would be truly happy to welcome you to our university sometime in the near future!

Regular Students
Admission requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent (for undergraduate studies)
• Bachelor´s degree (for graduate studies)
• Written application by June 30 for the following academic year
• An on-site entrance examination and personal interview are required
• Proficiency in the German language (intensive German courses are offered)

Exchange students
Application for study at FH OÖ Required documents:

• ECTS* Application Form for International Students
• ECTS* Learning Agreement
• Accommodation Application Form
• Academic Transcript of Records
• Photocopy of your passport

Deadline for the receipt of all applications:

• 1st June for the fall term (starting in October)
• 15th November for the spring term (starting in March).

The applications must be submitted directly to the International Office of the campus you have chosen. A letter of acceptance will be sent to you if your application is complete and can be considered. With the letter of acceptance, you can apply for a student visa at the Austrian Embassy in your home country.
