All life is energy. Energy consumption is rising, reserves dwindling worldwide. It is vital that we cover our energy needs (lighting, heating, power etc.) as economically and efficiently as possible and minimise primary energy use. This must be achieved as far as possible by using the sun, wind, water and geothermal energy, for these are our future. This programme is about efficient and environmentally-friendly production and use of energy. It offers an innovative education in ecology, technology and business economics. You will learn to develop, plan and market efficient technologies for energy production and conversion. A further specialisation of the course is in the field of ecological and energy-efficient buildings.
