Then Automation Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences in Wels is the right course for you.
The award-winning UAS course Automation Engineering offers a broad, fundamental education in mechatronics and is an important foundation stone for a successful engineering career. Students learn the fundamentals of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, IT, sensors and microsystems as well as business economics and management.
Students specialise in one of three fields:
- Branch plant automation,
- Branch industrial IT or
- Branch sensors and microsystems.
Students can also get an insight into other degree courses by swapping some subjects!
The broad nature of the course and multitude of possible career applications mean that there is a wide area of careers for graduates to choose from in which systematic methods of working, team work and internationality are important.
