The challenge facing any organisation is how best to co-ordinate the activities of many discretely functioning departments to maximise efficiencies and innovation and exploit extra-organisational connections and opportunities. Co-operative thinking and action is the key to this strategy and is at the heart of our Master's degree "Supply Chain Management" (SCM).

Students will be schooled in the fundamental importance of the cybernetic approach to addressing organisational strategies in the supply chain, and of the key imperative of harnessing rather than suppressing individual thinking to encourage creative co-operation all along the value chain.
Such creative co-operation is the key building block of any successful company organisation. It is also essential in developing new concepts and technologies and exploiting exterior connections both on an inter-company and international basis.
The Master's focuses is on top quality, integrated management skills and in-depth specialisations, providing graduates with the widest possible scope for individual career planning.

A young, growing enterprise, a dynamic environment and new theories provided by research again and again require continuous further training. It was not only the excellent education at Campus Steyr, but also the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss work with fellow students that motivated me to embark on a course of part time study.
