Study Projects

Configuration Tool for Micro-Controller
The product enables a configuration tool for the generation of models without the acknowledgement of C++ programming language. These models can be exported to a binary file by the code generator in C++- code and the GCC Compiler. This binary file can be used directly for an AVR32 UC3A family micro-controller.

Real-time Depth Maps
The increase of visual perception of computer systems can be achieved by the application of humans' well-established techniques. These techniques allow for a reconstruction of three-dimensional information from two-dimensional images.

Fire Protection System (FPS)
FPS is a call-out emergency notification system for the fire brigarde and the state-alert-centre in case of an emergency. FPS provides real-time information from buildings and supports the officer-in-charge at the coordination of charges.

Feasibility Analysis of a Food Management System (FMS)
The feasibility study of FMS evaluates if the state of the art allows for the implementation of FMS.

Equation Motion Analysis
Obtaining information of the performance of horses by a motion analysis to increase the performance in different equation divisionals is the idea of this project. Inseam and timing in the different gaits provide important information about the performance and endurance of horses. This data can be measured by acceleration sensors and edited afterwards.

Navigation System Development
The project Navigation System Development focuses on the development of a navigation system rootedly. In the first semester it focuses mainly on the import of graphs, the selection of an algorithm for route calculation and data modelling. In the following semesters the visualisation, calculation of various cost functions and the implementation of points-of-interest are carried out.

Multiplatform Game Engine
The project „Multiplatform Game Engine“ covers all aspects of designing and implementing an engine that can be used to create games for PCs and mobile devices.

Sail Motion
SailMotion is a system that measures and records relevant values, e.g. GPS position and wind speed, during an offshore sailing session. These values get evaluated and will be presented on a tracking map showing the route of the offshore sailing session. The sailor can use this to analyze different scenarios in order to learn and prevent making mistakes in the future.

UML Style Check
There are certain "style-guidelines" for the design of UML-diagrams that should be maintained to ease the legibility of a diagramme. Such "style-guidelines" exist also in-house. Now it is also possible to check an UML-diagramme according to predetermined guidelines by a "UML style check"-tool.

Implementation of a Real-Environment Movement Model on the basis of OpenStreetMap-Data
OpenStreetMap-Data is used to simulate a Real-Environment Movement Modell. Therefore the members move at the roads that are taken from the data and subsequently stored in a file in corresponding format.
