German language courses

We encourage international exchange students to take part in German language courses held at Steyr Campus. Those courses are as all other courses offered in Steyr - free of charge.

German Crash Course

The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to vocabulary and structures needed for basic communication in German. Essential contents of the course include: basic vocabulary, grammar, reading and conversation. The course is usally held some days before semester starts.

German for Beginners

German for Beginners is offered each semester exclusively for international exchange students. Classes are held once a week. The course is suitable for absolute beginners as well as "false" beginners.

German Lower Intermediate

German Lower Intermediate is a course for students with a few months or one year of german language experience. Classes are held once a week.

German Intermediate

More advanced students are recommended to attend the German Intermediate course. Classes are held once a week.

Language school, BFI Oberösterreich in Steyr offers one level: "Deutsch als Fremdsprache 5". After this course participants can take ELL DaF exam Level 3. The course price is €95 a month. You can find further information on www.bfi-ooe.at.
