From April 20 to 24, Linz Campus hosted 36 guests, both professors and students, from Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany (Bremen, Emden and Jena), and Bulgaria for International Week Linz 2009.

International Week is a project of the Socrates Social Work Network, which now
includes 15 member universities from 12 European countries. Each year, three or four members host International Week concurrently. This year there were IWs in Linz, Budweis (CR) and Odense (DK).

Lectures, workshops,excursions and two parties made for an eventful week.

Carolyn Mayr and Iwona Wasilewska (International Office) would like to thank
the IW Organizing Committee (Markus Hart SVM 07, Ivonne Hofer SVM 07,
Christina Mader SO8, Ernst Neubauer SO7, Elisabeth Schmid SO7 and Gerhard Üblinger SO6) for their hard work and support. Thanks, too, to our many generous hosts (students stayed with students).

AND to SO7 for the sumptuous buffet they prepared for the Welcome Party.

Last, but by no means least, thanks to SO 5 for organizing the memorable Farewell Party at Stadtwerkstatt.
