Application
Exchange Students
Students who wish to do exchanges (Erasmus or other) must apply at their home university. Exchanges can only take place among insititutions that have signed mutual agreements. Before you apply for an Erasmus exchange, make sure
- that the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, Linz Campus, courses fit into your course of study and
- that your university uses the ECTS system
For your application you will need
- the application form
- the learning agreement, where you list the courses you would like to take
- the accommodation form, where you specify your accommodation wishes
- and a transcript of records, which shows your learning achievements
Please also submit your CV, a photocopy of your passport, and a photo.
Students registering for courses taught in German must have a good command of the German language. At present the language of instruction at Linz Campus is German, with the exception of a few ESL courses.
If there is no mutual agreement between our institutions, you still may be able to study as free movers. There are certain requirements and deadlines involved, so you need to contact your international co-ordinator. The University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria does not charge tuition.
Our deadline for the receipt of Socrates/Erasmus applications is June 1 for students wishing to study in the winter semester, and December 1 for students applying to study in the summer semester.
