Openlanguages (OL) on TYPO3 is an open learning environment of foreign languages. It is the first online foreign language offering at UWM. For this class, students should spend at least 10 hrs per week on the course to meet the language course objectives. Yet, few students do spend the required amount of time and for some thy do not manage their course well. They struggle to manage the time commitment to online learning. To help the students (and inform the teachers) a digital dashboard will enable students to track their activity and follow the reported results to understand their own progression in the course and know where to focus. The environment will help the teacher be informed as to the status of each student and guide them to become more effective to achieve the learning objectives. Within the project, a plugin to TYPO3 has been designed and implemented to provide a self-assessment environment for logged in students and reporting to students and teachers.
